Exploring Students’ Reading Ability in An Extensive Reading Class Through Constructivism of Narrative Text

The level of understanding reading English narrative texts at the junior high school still needs to be given extra learning. There are many factors that prevent students from text, one which is who have difficulty words in texts. This study uses theory constructivism, namely two-way learning carried out by teacher and class. research a qualitative method, researcher means classroom observations, interviews an effort obtain data school. participants this were eighth grade public schools Bekasi Regency, West Java. selected representatives several group. results are, there some do not master understand legend text using constructivism techniques.
